ITER is a unique, first of a kind project that aims to demonstrate the technical and scientific feasibility of fusion energy.

Jacobs one of three partners making up the Consortium MOMENTUM (http://www.momentum-iter.com/) (construction management-as-agent contractor) is project managing the construction and assembly of more than one million components in world’s largest fusion reactor.

As construction management-as-agent contractor, MOMENTUM is managing the construction and assembly of the first full-scale test reactor to include balance of plant and the Tokomak itself. Join us and play a part in the international effort to make fusion a viable source of almost limitless, carbon-free energy.

Jacobs is recruiting for a Schedule Administrator (F/H) with at least 7 years of experience to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.

He/She will be responsible for:

  • Take direction and interacts directly with his Project Delivery Manager and the Project Controls Manager

  • Responsible for producing on-time for the monthly best forecast integrated construction schedule covering all construction activities planned on the ITER site

  • Coordinate P6 v20 schedule management work of an integrated planning team

  • Manage schedule change control, produce schedule analysis/reports, secure coherence of good scheduling practice amongst all planners (about 15 planners)

  • Understand and adapt to an existing complex organization, existing processes and procedures.

  • Have a transverse role in a matrix organization, led by example and being force of proposal

  • Analyse any delay to identify causes and find mitigation solution to keep the project on time

  • Liaise with Contractors and validate their works preparation and works execution schedules

  • Organize and manage coordination meetings, write and issue minutes of meetings

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Specific skills

  • Solid experience as scheduling specialist in major International projects

  • Analysis of the specific constraints identified on the schedules issued by the work Contractors

  • Demonstrable experience of earned value and project Scheduling tools & techniques

  • Demonstrate a solid experience in Microsoft Office software, mainly in Excel advanced functions

  • Able to work in a highly regulated environment for a multinational and multicultural joint venture

  • Able to work in an integrated Client/Contractor organization

  • Demonstrate a solid Primavera P6 experience

General skills

  • Multi-culturally experience

  • Well organised

  • English fluent

  • Communication written and oral skills
