Role outline and Responsabilities:

Schedule Monitoring and Control:

  • Propose solutions to address schedule performance drivers, including analysis of all Control Account Managers (CAM) requested options.

  • Be the focal point for communicating the basis for progress achieved to date and forecasts (Iter Organisation (IO) and Domestic Agency (DA)).

  • Identify project schedule issues, monitor action items, and work with the TROs to ensure resolution.

  • Identify opportunities for schedule acceleration and optimisation, simulate their impacts and propose to Project Control Manager (PCM) and SCAM for implementation.

  • Review the Procurement Arrangement (PA) Detailed Schedule developed or updated by the DA when a PA is signed or amended and as required propose resolutions to issues identified.

  • Analyse supplier schedules, identify and propose opportunities and corrective actions to improve schedule performance as necessary.

  • Analyse DA submitted forecast dates and propose opportunities and corrective actions to improve schedule performance as necessary.

  • Actively participate in reviews managed under the Risk and Opportunity Project Control Officer (PCO) service.

Schedule Development and Maintenance:

  • Develop forward looking schedule opportunity, recovery and alternative scenarios to support the PCM and CAM optioneering and decision making to recover delays or to improve Project schedule performance (at Detailed Work Schedule (DWS) and Master level as required)

  • Develop and maintain under change control the Level 3 (Master) schedule supporting CAM strategy under guidance from the PCM according to procedures and work

  • instructions, proactively addressing quality issues.

  • Develop and maintain some of the IO Level 4 schedules (DWS).

Schedule Quality Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously improve the quality of the schedule according to PCO Management and Quality Plan (MQP) procedure requirements and PCO applied selected DCMA-14 quality criteria

  • Support PCM in the production of the yearly Rolling Wave to be implemented by the end of December, before statusing of January on the year N+1

  • Address quality issues identified through automated reports prepared by PCO.

  • Improve the PCO service level provided by the Contractor

Baseline Change Control:

  • Assess, prepare, and submit Baseline Change Proposals.

  • Implementation of approved BCPs into the Master Schedule for assigned scope, and alignment of DWS scenarios in the Level 4 DWS to approved Baseline Change Proposals (BCPs) (where applicable).

  • Implementation of approved Change Requests in the Construction Level 4 Schedule (CDWS)

Progress Statusing:

  • Define the Progress Statusing Method for all activities in the Level 3 Schedule (Master) planned for execution in the coming year.

  • Update the Step-Files used to capture the progress on activities in execution in the coming year.

  • Monthly update of the progress status (Actuals) of the Level 3 Schedule (Master).

  • Monthly update of the progress status (Actuals) of the Level 4 Schedules (DWS) (when applicable).


  • Provide schedule variance analysis, schedule achievements and issues.

  • Support schedule reporting as input for PCM report.

  • Support to delivery red flag process.

  • Provide to the PCM inputs for variance analysis (milestone and SPI) and recovery action reporting against the approved Baseline Plan.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Qualification and Experience:


  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge to develop, plan and control execution of complex projects in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional, preferably in EPS multi-project environment

  • Schedulers allocated to the Assembly and Construction Schedule must have at least 5 years.

  • Experience in rigorous change control process and management of schedule Baselines with Primavera.

  • The project language is English


  • Nuclear experience

  • French language
