Jacobs is seeking a Security Project Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. In this role, you will manage projects/assignments with corporate and/or business unit impact. You will also provide analysis and feasibility studies, establishes project goals, negotiates timelines/schedules, and develops project plans.

Responsibilities of this position include the following:

  • Under general guidance, manage projects, research, track, and report on initiatives.

  • Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance to Project Governance and Standards.

  • Assist with analysis, recommendations and/or implementation of technical, procedure and process enhancements.

  • Communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.

  • Manage client expectations.

  • Analyze and evaluate skills to define critical tasks.

  • Monitor and maintain project budgets.

  • Evaluate and establish project goals, develop project plans, negotiate timelines and schedules and monitor progress against plan.

  • Participate with Procurement in Vendor/Client negotiations.

  • Manage interactions between customers and the project team.

  • Facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.

  • Analytical and evaluation skills to define critical tasks, establish sequence of events, identify individuals/teams, timelines, and outcomes, and produce project plans.

  • Project management skills to develop and monitor work agreements and budgets, determine specifications, schedules, timelines, and define deliverables.

  • Interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and communicate project objectives, parameters, status, and outcomes.

  • Financial modeling to quantify costs and benefits of projects and to track and maintain outcomes.

  • Knowledge of project management techniques, the Company’s business, applicable policies, procedures, and practices, and federal, state, and local laws.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business; or the equivalent combination of work experience.

  • Working knowledge of SAP in cost tracking and forecasting.

  • PMP Certification.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.
