We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening. We do not have assurance at this time that the position will be opened and when. This position is contingent upon contract award. Jacobs Technology is looking for Technical Support Manager in the San Diego, California area.
The Technical Support Manager should have extensive recent experience in data, network, configuration, safety, and environmental management, and quality assurance of military test or exercise operations including the generation of associated plans, systems implementation, and maintenance.
Management experience in the operation and maintenance of complex underwater range tracking systems, communication systems, and/or electronic warfare systems. Experience managing the development and maintenance of complex computer-based systems.
Specific experience in IT development, database management, and network design and administration.
BS/BA in Engineering, Management, acceptable alternative. The Technical Support Manager must have a minimum of Eight (8) Years’ experience. Must be able to acquire and hold a Secret Security Clearance Qualification.
Must be able to work at a computer, desk for extended periods. Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of employees and customers.
With the exception of approved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. This position is expected to be on-site during all regular business hours.

Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must have/maintain appropriate security clearance as may be required. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel as-needed.
