When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re helping our clients protect our world’s natural resources. Based out of the Northern California Bay Area, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary project teams to provide support and expertise in biology, regulatory permitting, baseline assessments, construction, and post-construction monitoring. You’ll apply your background in botanical, avian, wetland, general wildlife and/or familiarity and experience with biological/water resource permitting and environmental compliance to challenging infrastructure projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to conduct both field and office work. You’ll have the chance to work with teams to coordinate biological and general environmental compliance during project planning and execution. You may also have the opportunity to work with the multi-disciplinary teams on Federal, State, and commercial projects. The base salary range for this position is $92,700 to $144,750. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • BS degree in Biology, Natural Resources, Environmental Science, Ecology or a related field.

  • At least 3 years of biological experience in botany, wetland, wildlife, or aquatics disciplines.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with California plant, wildlife, and habitats.

  • Ability to travel and work in the field up to 50% of the time.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Experience preparing biological analysis and reports, habitat assessments, and permit applications (including 404/401/1600 permitting), conducting field surveys and reporting.

  • Experience serving as a client point-of-contact.

  • Interest in engaging with transportation agencies within California.

  • Experience performing various biological field surveys for site planning and construction.

  • Experience serving on teams of biologists and field scientists.
