As an Environmental Planner in the San Jose, CA office, you willsupport the Environmental Planning and Permitting Practice and have a hand intransforming tomorrow. You will have the chance to provide planningsupport on a variety of fast-paced infrastructure and advanced facilitiesprojects and develop your planning and permitting skills. You will also havethe opportunity to grow your core skills in task coordination and leadership whilebeing supported by a range of experts and industry leaders to help guide,mentor, and shape your career.
Conducting research and drafting environmental impact assessment documents
Preparing permit application packages
Compiling project records and maintaining document storage
Organizing and summarizing technical material for several projects simultaneously
Traveling to client offices or sites in support ofplanning and/or construction projects
Coordinating with diverse technical disciplines to plan and facilitate project delivery
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an environmental, natural science, orplanning-related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA

Familiaritywith California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), National Environmental PolicyAct (NEPA), and/orregulatory permitting processes
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
Abilityto balance work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong self-starter who enjoys a challenge and working as part of amultidisciplinary team
- This position requires 3 days a week at the client's office (in San Jose).
