Description of Duties:
The Configuration Management Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Be responsible for assisting in the implementation of enterprise-wide management of CM processes, process improvements, and integration of Change & Configuration Management.
Provide guidance, governance and ensuring the compliance of enterprise CM processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of organizational CM plans, policies, and procedures.
Provide collaboration, integration and support of all CM teams across the enterprise.
Collaborate with enterprise CM Analysts to shift focus and provide additional support for high priority projects and taskers.
Synchronize and align CM efforts with Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance and Enterprise Architecture.
Maintain enterprise level CM documentation and conducts, reviews and update as necessary.
Develop and conducts CM training across the enterprise.
Perform audits/spot checks, conducts gap analysis of CM process and recommends corrective actions.
Ensure the identification, status, and closure of action items and lessons learned.
The successful candidate will:
Have solid knowledge in five CM functions across both hardware and software components.
Have demonstrated to work in a diverse team environment and build consensus among many stakeholders.
This position will be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 4 years of general experience; Master's degree and 2 years of general experience.
Must have at least 4 years of Configuration Management experience
Must have at least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Minimum of Associates Degree from an accredited college or university
CM tools experience (Remedy or similar ITSM system), JIRA, Bentley MicroStation
Previous MDA hands-on CM experience
Previous facilities experience in understanding (Power Panel Schedules, drawings, traceability of power)
CM Certifications, (ITIL, CMPIC, etc.)
