Description of Duties:

The Configuration Management Analyst supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

  • Be responsible for assisting in the implementation of enterprise-wide management of CM processes, process improvements, and integration of Change & Configuration Management.

  • Provide guidance, governance and ensuring the compliance of enterprise CM processes.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of organizational CM plans, policies, and procedures.

  • Provide collaboration, integration and support of all CM teams across the enterprise.

  • Collaborate with enterprise CM Analysts to shift focus and provide additional support for high priority projects and taskers.

  • Synchronize and align CM efforts with Mission Assurance, Quality Assurance and Enterprise Architecture.

  • Maintain enterprise level CM documentation and conducts, reviews and update as necessary.

  • Develop and conducts CM training across the enterprise.

  • Perform audits/spot checks, conducts gap analysis of CM process and recommends corrective actions.

  • Ensure the identification, status, and closure of action items and lessons learned.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have solid knowledge in five CM functions across both hardware and software components.

  • Have demonstrated to work in a diverse team environment and build consensus among many stakeholders.

This position will be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 4 years of general experience; Master's degree and 2 years of general experience.

  • Must have at least 4 years of Configuration Management experience

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role

  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Desired Requirements:

  • Minimum of Associates Degree from an accredited college or university

  • CM tools experience (Remedy or similar ITSM system), JIRA, Bentley MicroStation

  • Previous MDA hands-on CM experience

  • Previous facilities experience in understanding (Power Panel Schedules, drawings, traceability of power)

  • CM Certifications, (ITIL, CMPIC, etc.)
