Cost and Schedule Analyst - IRES - SAFB


Responsible for supporting Earned Value (EV) and financial management systems requirements resulting in effective technical, cost and schedule integration for Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA) and potentially other task orders at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC), Schriever AFB on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. Support MDSEA manager and lead systems engineer to oversee and manage multiple control accounts across the task order. Contribute to the development and timely delivery of task order proposals and modifications and planning initial baseline artifacts to include Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), time-phased budgets, bill of materials (BOM) and other direct cost (ODC) spend plans. Support analysis of financial and business reports, work authorizations, and monthly task order statusing, estimate to complete forecasts, variance analysis reports (VAR) and contribute to integrated program management review (IPMR) deliverable to the customer. The successful candidate will provide support and gain experience in the following activities: earned value management, project planning, integrated schedule and risk management, procurement management, scope management, project execution monitoring and control, financial reporting and forecasting and stakeholder management. Must be proficient in MS Office products and work in a complex and dynamic environment. Candidates must also demonstrate proficient communication skills, team collaboration; capability to facilitate approval boards and customer program management reviews.



Requirements: High School diploma and 12 years general experience or a bachelor’s degree in technical, business or finance related discipline with 8 years of general experience. Requires 6 years of experience directly related to business, finance, or management. 3 years leadership/management experience; proficiency with MS Office products; active Top Secret Clearance; proficient at cost/finance analysis and estimating; working knowledge of earned value management (EVM); excellent collaboration, verbal, written and interpersonal skills; experience at working independently and in a team- oriented, collaborative environment.

Desired: TS/SCI with SSBI or higher; experience managing projects utilizing a earned value management system (EVMS); experience working in missile defense, missile warning, or remote sensing programs; ability to adhere to financial guidelines (DCMA experience); cost analysis or business/data analytics experience with demonstrated ability to train others.
