Description

The IRES Project Manager will manage the project lifecycle to include scope, schedule, milestones and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using established Earned Value and IRES tool sets and procedures. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. Build, develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. Conduct project lessons learned and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Contribute to the development of PMO best practices and tools for project execution and management.

Qualifications

Requirements:Active DOD Secret Clearance; BS Degree from an Engineering School and at least 12 years overall experience, 8 years related experience and 5 years in management or leadership roles. Proficiency with MS Office Products (e.g., Project and SharePoint). Excellent collaboration, verbal, written and interpersonal skills; Experience supporting a challenging and dynamic environment; Experience at working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; current experience in managing projects in a DOD environment utilizing Earned Value Management; Ability to adhere to financial guidelines (DCMA experience); Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.

Desired :Cost Account Manager (CAM) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Earned Value Management strongly desired; Degree in related field of IT/Project Management/Engineering and PMP certification strongly desired; ITIL Certified; Excellent Problem-solving capabilities; Strong written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills; Experience successfully managing multiple high dollar-value projects; Experience in Agile Methodology; CISSP Certified; BMDS Domain knowledge.
