Systems Administrator 2 (CLAW MRT Mission Unique) - IRES - SAFB


Systems Administrator matrixed to the C2BMC Labs and Warfighter Mission Response Team to provide support for Admin/Genser and Mission Unique Equipment (MUE) on the IRES program at Schriever AFB, CO. The MUE Administrator supports a wide variety of mission focused customers including MDA/BCX, BNOSC, JFCC IMD and GMD. Administrator will support/lead project focused Integrated Project Teams (IPT) efforts with the responsibilities to include completing customer request assessments to verify customer requirements and impact of change as well as being able to develop technical solutions to complicated issues. This support provides Tier 3/4 resolution for break-fix issues and hardware/software/patch conflicts. Responsible for the configuration, install, relocation, and tracking of MUE Windows servers, storage platforms, workstations and software and the sustainment of configuration documentation for the items. Must be able to work well with other IRES teams and disciplines to quickly coordinate and expedite resolution of customer issues. Candidate must quickly adapt to new technologies, new situations, short deadlines, be able to work unsupervised and have a strong commitment to a team environment. Primary duty hours fall within the 0600-1800, Monday - Friday time period with occasional off shift, extended hours or weekend support requirements. Occasional local travel is necessary to support customer requirements and exercise support.



Requirements : A high School diploma (of GED) and 8 years general experience or an Associates degree and 6 years general experience or a BS degree and 4 years experience. General experience must include 4 years of related experience in the administration ofMS Windows workstation and/or server platforms. Sound understanding of Virtual systems, Active Directory, Group Policies, Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), and Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP). Must be a US citizen and have an activeDoD Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain TS). DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification. CompTIA Security CE Certification. Previous Windows systems administration experience utilizing Active Directory within the domain.

Desired :Experience with one or more of the following a plus: GCCS, PDS-M, VMWare 5.5 (or later) administration, network administration, NetApp Storage Appliance administration, ClearCube Architecture, SMS/SCCM configuration, LINUX/UNIX familiarity, Remote administration, Use of the Remedy software action request system.
