Your Impact:

This position will be part of our dynamic Video Conferencing (VTC) and Audiovisual support team providing all facets of customer service including, designing, installing, programming, maintaining, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting of video conference and briefing support facilities.

DUTIES: (Describe responsibilities and daily activities of the position)

Provide exceptional service to the USTRANSCOM, SDDC, and JECC customers.

Perform as the sole Crestron control system designer and programmer for audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environments.

Participate in audiovisual and VTC design team efforts developing conference room renovation plans and new room designs.

Program, configure, and commission audio and video matrix mixer systems.

Configure audio DSPs for system installation.

Configure CODECs and VTC devices during system installations.

Perform control system loading and testing for all AV system installations.

Serve as the primary system commissioner and perform all acceptance testing on all AV installation efforts.

Maintain a control program and configuration files database for all conference rooms and AV systems throughout USTRANSCOM, SDDC, and the JECC.

Assist with generating List of Materials and the ordering of A/V equipment and materials.

Participate in design review and change process discussions with Government program officials and customers.

Development, creation, and updating of conference room user operation manuals and quick reference guides for all AV installations.

Assist other team members as required to provide the USTRANSCOM customer with the superior level of support they have come to expect, and deserve, from Jacobs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Certifications:

Crestron Master Certified Programmer - Required

Crestron DMC-E Certified

Crestron NVX Certified

AVIXA (Infocomm) CTS-D Certified

Background Needed and Years of Experience:

Candidate must be able and willing to provide world class customer service in support of the Jacobs client.

10+ years experience in AV and Control System design, programming, commissioning and troubleshooting

Understanding of electronic system architecture and design.

Strong analytical reasoning skills.

Advanced troubleshooting skills

Candidate must be a team player willing to assist other team members as necessary to satisfy customer requirements in a timely manner.

Candidate must be able to work in a dynamic environment under potentially stressful situations while remaining calm.

Candidate must be able to accommodate a flexible and varied work schedule to include early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Candidate must have highly effective communication skills both oral and written

Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD SECRET security clearance

Technical Skills (Must have):

Significant experience programming Crestron audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environments.

Experience designing audiovisual and VTC presentation control systems in complex multi-security level environments.

Experience integrating Cisco and Polycom VTC systems in complex multi-security level environments.

Experience with Biamp, Clear One, and other audio mixing systems

Experience with Crestron, Extron, RGB Spectrum, and other video switching systems

Ability to interpret customer touchpanel interface requirements and develop intelligent, intuitive, functional user interfaces

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Visio, Excel)

Technical Skills (Preferred):

Experience with AMX systems and programming

Non-Technical Skills:

Ability to work autonomously or under direct supervision.

Knowledge of military and DoD Command personnel structure.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES:

None

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Professional office and conference room environments on a DoD installation.
