As the Quality Assurance Construction Inspector- Buildings and Infrastructure , you’ll be working alongside the general contractor and Project Managers to assist with the delivery of South County Recycling and Transfer Station in Algona, WA. You’ll play an active role in the Project Delivery Team to provide on-site quality review, maintain documents of compliance and prepare and create contract requirements. You’ll have the support, means and space to deliver your best solutions and recommendations on the quality of some of our most important and challenging projects. Here’s What You’ll Need:
5 years in construction administration/ inspection
High School diploma
Knowledge of construction practices and principles Intermediate mathematical skills in order to perform field calculations
Ability to gather and understand technical data for purposes of generating technical reports
Proficient in MS Office Suites and AutoCAD BIM360.
A valid State’s driver’s license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Proven experience providing inspection on large building construction or civil projects
Proven Experience with Procore, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Tools
Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
Essential Functions:
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous

Typical hourly rate for this position is $33.00 - $52.00 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position
