About the opportunity:
The Box Encapsulation Plant project is one of the most important construction projects at the Sellafield Site, the plant will play a vital role in Sellafield’s 100-year clean-up programme by taking nuclear waste recovered from the sites original waste plants and encasing it in concrete so it can be stored in a modern building. The plant is primarily designed to deal with waste from the Magnox Swarf Storage Silo, one of four legacy waste plants prioritised for clean-up by Sellafield Ltd’s owner, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). Alongside that work, the plant will also receive certain wastes from the other three legacy waste stores, the First Generation Magnox Storage Pond, the Pile Fuel Storage Pond, and Pile Fuel Cladding Silo.
For our team at Sellafield we now seeking a HSE Administrator.
The role will include but not limited to the following key tasks;
Monitoring and maintaining the project Observation Reporting data / spreadsheets.
Coordinating and managing the project ‘Monitoring and Review’ process (audits, inspections, reviews etc.).
Maintaining the project register for all toolbox talks, briefings, alerts etc.
Management filing of all documentation relating to the project ‘Setting to Work’ process (task briefs, etc.).
Maintaining and updating HSE files / folders on Project Sharepoint system.
Providing HSE data in support of HSE KPI’s and reports.
Support meetings and other events, including arranging meeting rooms and any other required logistics.
Attend meetings as required and take minutes.
Raise and monitor progress of Purchase Requisitions on behalf of the HSE function
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Demonstrable experience of providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft software (excel is essential).
The ability to analyse data and produce reports for senior management.
Good time management skills with the ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
