About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Client Programme Manager this site-based position will develop and execute projects and task associated with the CNSL portfolio on the Sellafield Site in Cumbria.

Supporting an integrated team, this role will offer a wide range of challenges whilst allowing for the opportunity to develop the programme strategy for future works.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strong Management experience within the Nuclear Industry.

  • Day to day management of the Delivery Programme.

  • Implementation and embedding of the Redundant Asset process across identified areas/OU’s as identified by the Client Programme Manager.

  • Stakeholder management to ensure the Safety Case requirements are valid.

  • Coordination of tasks through design delivery with successful design sign off and authorisation to proceed.

  • Assistance to the Programme Manager in strategy development.

  • Financial Performance management of the Supply chain.

Essential

  • Experience of working within nuclear establishments & following Nuclear Professionalism Standards & Expectations 10 years - In depth knowledge of the legislative, regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements relating to nuclear engineering projects.

  • Will be required to pass a Medical to prove fitness to work in a Radiological environment.

  • Requirement to work in radiological environment, wearing relevant PPE.

  • IOSH Managing Safely qualified.

  • SC or DV Cleared.

  • Site based on the Sellafield site.

  • Strong knowledge of the Sellafield working procedures and processes.

  • Experience in working within the Active Area on the Sellafield site.

  • Self-starter, able to deliver to tight deadlines

  • NEC3/4 and CEMAR delivery experience.

  • Understanding of the CDM Regulations 2015.

Desirable

  • Project Engineering qualification.

  • Held a SQEP position within the Sellafield Construction, engineering department.

  • Experience in working within restricted buildings on the Sellafield site.

  • Knowledge and Experience with Management of Contractors in a Nuclear Environment.
