We are the Innovative Aerospace Division, a rapidly growing business within the Surveillance and Exploration Sector of Jacobs, that is leading the design and development of next generation satellite payloads and ground processing systems. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and strategic focus to enable you to be successful.
Design and develop firmware for digital and mixed-signal subsystems for next-generation RF instruments, from conceptual design through detailed design and fabrication.
Focus on rapid prototyping and development for sensors, radios, and on-board processing systems.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Working towards a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, math, or a related discipline.
Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout.
Hands-on electronics design and debugging experience.
Data analysis using Matlab or similar tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with programming or scripting software languages.
Experience with SoCs, FPGAs, and GPUs.
Experience with testing RF systems and hardware.
Strong documentation capabilities (plans, procedures, manuals, etc.)
Experience with radar, SIGINT, and/or communications systems.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Clearance Requirement: Favorable background required.
Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government. Factors considered for a U.S. Government Security Clearance include but are not limited:

-Abuse/Illegal Drug Use
