The Lead Integration and Test Engineer position will be in support of Jacobs’ Small Satellite programs and related efforts in the planning, execution, and reporting of integration and test activities. A successful candidate should have experience working in an I&T role, preferably for small satellites, as well as developing test plans, work instructions, schedule planning, and hardware integration oversight. Lead will be required to manage supporting technical staff for these activities and support test or program reviews, design cycle reviews, nonconformance reporting, failure boards, and status meetings. Effective communication skills are required as a successful candidate will be required to work across multiple technical disciplines, coordinate with SME’s, and document system process and performance for program leadership and stakeholders.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integration and Test for satellite systems with at least 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
Must be willing to support occasional off-site travel for testing.
Ability to plan and manage an integration and test schedule to support the targeted launch date.
Hands-on knowledge of small satellite systems, testing or programs.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to create technical presentations and content in support of testing and integration.
Technical background in satellite hardware and software testing.
