Jacobs Section Lead 3 in Severn, Maryland

Your Impact:

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Section Lead to support our federal customer in Severn, MD. Our highly technical team keeps pace with RF advances, enabling our customer to address threats to our nation and our allies by supporting global needs of our military and national policy-makers.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage resources of functional support section insuring area meets contract deliverables with regards to quality, scheduling, and cost

  • Develop work schedules and delegates work assignments to meet project deadlines

  • Provide reporting on section performance and schedule to program leadership

  • Act as technical lead for major programs under the contract

  • Serve as technical expert in functional area providing guidance, management, and training of personnel assigned to section

  • Apply new technology into work processes of section

  • Manage the development, implementation, and improvement of work procedures for respective functional areas

  • Work across functional areas on contract directly to resolve routine and complex problems applying technical expertise as necessary

  • May interface with Government personnel on project requirements

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and five (5) years of experience; will consider 13 years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
