We are seeking an Engineering Technician with an Associate's degree in a related field of study with relevant experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to directly support production operations teams in the design and creation of the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies.
As an Engineering Technician, you will be using your skills and expertise to perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, and electromechanical areas.
Assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test equipment at various levels of assembly (components, devices, and systems).
Ensure all work completed meets established specifications.
Complete parts lists, check drawings, generate and process engineering/document change requests, notices, and/or orders and perform other general engineering tasking.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE.
Hands-on manufacturing experience focused in electronics assembly and packaging.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Electronics Technician.
Ability to build prototype and new design hardware assemblies as required per engineering documentation.
Ability to read and understand schematics, as well as datasheets for RF, Digital and Analog components.
Working knowledge of with standard laboratory test equipment, other measurement equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with cross-functional teams.
Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to communicate progress/problems to appropriate personnel effectively.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office software products.
Current TS/SCI CLEARANCE
Two-year technical degree
Ability to assist engineers to perform and validate test procedures
Ability to develop processes, tooling and fixtures as to support improvements to assembly process
Experience with machine shop equipment (such as manual or CNC milling machine, lathe)
Ability to assist in the transition of prototype design to manufacturing.
Assist in analyzing test hardware failures for root causes and corrective actions.
Ability to populate/rework circuit boards by hand-soldering and use of hot air reflow.
