Jacobs Senior Hardware Test Technician ($10,000 Sign-On Bonus) in Severn, Maryland

Your Impact:

THIS POSITION INCLUDES A $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.

Candidate will work at customer site to provide technical support to engineers on new product development and QRC events.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

  • 15 years of relevant experience in construction, assembly, fabrication and test of electrical, electronic, and mechanical prototype and products with appropriate certifications.

  • Ability to work with senior engineering technicians, assemblers, fabricators, mechanical designers and technical writers.

  • Ability to perform hardware test and document test results in accordance with an approved test plan.

  • Ability to independently perform tests and document test results, following an approved test plan.

  • Ability to prepare and validate parts lists.

  • Ability to lead and communicate requirements to contractor engineering technicians, assemblers, fabricators, mechanical designers, and technical writers.

  • Experience using LabView.

  • Ability to read and understand circuit schematics for troubleshooting analog and RF circuits.

  • Flexibility to adjust work schedule during QRC events.

  • Experience with test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.

Preferred :

  • Hardware Test automation.

  • Basic soldering skills and experience.
