Jacobs is seeking a driven, senior-level systems engineer to work several projects for the IC community. Do you like to think outside the box? Do you like a challenge and bleeding-edge technology? Can you lead SE efforts for rapid response projects in your sleep? Want to keep our nation safe? If so, then Jacobs has a great opportunity for you in our Special Projects Division (SPD) group.
Generates quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics.
Ensures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification and validation testing methods.
Oversees the development and maintenance of the requirements traceability verification matrix (RTVM).
Oversees requirements flowdown to subsystem and component level engineering, ensuring traceability and compliance with top-level systems requirements.
Assesses interfaces and ensures interfaces successfully bring system elements together.
Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
Prepares and participates in project life-cycle design reviews and technical meetings.
Prepares all levels of systems engineering documentation.
Translates high-level product development strategies into system requirements and works with multi-discipline teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements.
Train and use a model-based system engineering MBSE tool such as No Magic CAMEO, if required.
Leads system engineering effort on projects.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience or a master’s with 5 years of experience.
A Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
Experience with the use and application of systems engineering technical standards, principles and theories.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Master’s in Electrical Engineering or System Engineering.
RF System Engineer.
SysML or MBSE Experience.
