Do you want to become part of an extremely successful, rapidly growing Agile Engineering Team? You will have the opportunity to work with multiple in-house Engineering teams that design and manufacture state of the art electronics directly supporting mission-critical products.
Work with project and product managers to maintain and plan material procurement according to project requirements and schedule.
Source materials from approved suppliers (i.e. obtain quotes, supplier selection).
Employee will place orders, process requisitions, track material receipts, and expedite materials.
Coordinate with inventory team available stock levels and kitting requirements.
Will maintain up-to-date pricing for manufacturing bill of materials.
Coordinates with Engineering, Purchasing and Production personnel to ensure materials meet production schedules.
Provides input to management regarding problems such as shortages, design changes, backlogs, parts obsolescence, long lead materials.
Maintains all appropriate documentation.
Works independently and as part of a larger Team.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
2 years of electronic production material planning experience, including a working knowledge of manufacturing activities, purchasing/material requisitioning, production processes and engineering.
Bachelors and 0-4 years experience, masters and 0-2 years experience, or high school and 6+ years experience.
Multi-tasking, attention to detail, critical decision making.
Experience with Government Procurement system helpful.
Experienced with MRP Systems (i.e. PeopleSoft).
2-5 years’ experience in field.
