About this Position

Rapid Solutions is seeking a highly motivated “can-do” administrator to assist with the operation of programs and monitoring of financial status. The selected candidate will gather, organize, and report financial information about projects and division operations; perform property and inventory administration duties; and assist project managers manage project costs. This position is located at Jacobs’s Severn MD facility. This position will report to the Division Program Management Office. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the project management profession.

Duties and responsibilities will include: running project reports, organizing financial data into management reports and metrics on a weekly and monthly basis; assist with the accountability of project and product fixed assets; assist project managers monitor project costs incurred and costs to complete in accordance with the project budget and schedule; assist the supply chain manager with the collection of quotations and entering purchase requests; and help issue subcontracts.

Job Requirements

• Business college degree (completed or in process), aptitude for financial management, and demonstration of success in a professional capacity is required for consideration.

• Must have significant experience with MS Excel and optionally, MS Project.

• The candidate must be able to:

  • Handle pressure and the fast-paced and dynamic nature of the business.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

• The candidate must be a strong team player with good interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
