Jacobs Technology Inc. is seeking an individual to join its Procurement Team located in Herndon, VA but may be open to other work locations for the right candidate as a Subcontracts Administrator (SCA). Individual must be experienced in the negotiation and administration of government subcontracts, able to work in a high paced, team environment and must be organized and detail oriented.
Assists in developing, negotiating and administration of subcontracts and other agreements of moderate value and risk in accordance with customer requirements and Company policies and procedures.
With guidance, creates subcontract solicitations in support of government contract types i.e. Time and Material, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable.
Assists with proposal efforts.
Participates in negotiations of price/cost and subcontract or other agreement provisions, including supporting Price Analyses write-ups.
Works with program management, contracts, project control, business development, and other program and functional area staff.
Supports compliance with company policy, regulation, and performance parameters.
Participates in special projects as required.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
3-5 years of related experience in subcontract administration in support of federal government contracts.
Experience in procurement and related functions with emphasis on traditional CPSR subcontract initiation and administration requirements.
Experience using various Price Analysis Techniques.
Intermediate knowledge of business and contract law, FAR, DFARS, Public Law, with basic understanding of finance and accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
Must be able to pass a for security clearance.
Effective analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and SharePoint.
Experience with PeopleSoft Purchasing System.
