We have an opportunity for an Associate – Roads & Highways to join the team on a permanent fulltime basis in our Brisbane office. The Associate will report directly to the Section Leader and be responsible for providing consultancy and engineering services to a diverse range of projects within the ANZ transport portfolio. The role will assist with commercial, project management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects and manage Jacobs risk on proposals and projects by undertaking engineering roles. The role also provides technical expertise across the civil/road’s projects and includes involvement in the development of proposals.

This role will see you thrive in a global setting, encouraging cross-geography relationships in order to maximise the benefit of global delivery to our clients and our people. Your leadership skills will see you mentoring and facilitating the technical development of engineers within the team to meet market requirements. #ANZTransport #APMETransport #LI-DG1

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Relevant engineering qualification and Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ)

• Vast design experience in roads/highways

• Knowledge and understanding of appropriate standards and accepted practices from a consultancy or equivalent road agency

• Strong capacity to work well within a team

• Good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills

• Ability to actively engage in business development Jacobs.
