About the opportunity

Our Brisbane Energy, Chemicals and Resources (ECR) team are currentlyseeking adaptable Project Engineers for our Mining, Resources and Oil and Gas operations. The team have a strong pipeline of work and require versatile Project Engineersto work on multiple projects across various disciplines, to provide projectengineering support. You will also utilise your technical engineering knowledgeand strong report writing skills to play a key role in the continued success ofproject delivery.

About the role

  • Independently manageand co-ordinate engineering projects and studies,

  • Take ownership of anddeliver project reporting deliverables,

  • Proactively engagewith other team members to resolves technical, performance, scope, cost, andschedule issues,

  • Take ownership of anddeliver clearly written project reporting deliverables to client and Jacobsstandards,

  • Provide regular costand schedule reports to clients/supervisor within assigned area on project /study performance, highlighting any problem areas without prompting,

  • Liaise regularly withthe engineering groups to ensure project and deliverable progress,

  • Actively build andmaintain customer relationships,

  • Prepare proposals,

  • Provide and managesite construction and technical supports.

About you

  • Degree in Engineeringand proven work history in the Resources and Oil and Gas industry

  • Previous projectengineering experience (Min of 2 years)

  • Ability to deliverreliably on time and without error

  • Commercial andcontractual awareness with ability to apply this in day-to-day tasks,

  • A strong, deliveryfocus to internal and external clients

  • Ability to work onmultiple, simultaneous tasks

  • Have an understandingof relative HSE regulations and construction standards,

  • Have an understanding/ familiarity of local and national standards and codes,

  • A good understandingof multi-disciplinary engineering concepts and be able to technically, conversewith all engineering disciplines

  • Have knowledge ofSafety in Design concepts

  • Possess excellentwritten English, strong report writing skills

  • A team player withgood communication and interpersonal skills

  • Positive “can do”attitude
