Our Spokane, Washington team is searching for a motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager Transportation/Transit who can utilize their excellent technical and design management skills to deliver transportation related infrastructure projects. This opportunity is your chance to work on many exciting local, state, and federal, multi-disciplined transportation improvement projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have an important role that includes leading multi-disciplinary teams, executing projects with preliminary and final design, quality assurance and quality control, and preparing design documentation.

In this role, you will leverage existing relationships and build strategic business partnerships to sell and deliver high-profile projects with key clients. As a Senior PM, you will need to understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice for our clients. Concurrently, as a Seller, working with members of our sales team, your focus is to make sure that Jacobs is seen as your client’s best advocate for accomplishing their goals. You’ll also ensure that Jacobs thoroughly understands the client’s needs from their perspective—the client’s challenges and aspirations.

Our Senior Project Manager (Transportation/Transit) will:

  • Lead a multiple disciplinary team in delivering projects that exceed client expectations while managing the budget and meeting gross margin goals.

  • Identify creative and innovative solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.

  • Driving growth with your client, working closely with the project team for overall client satisfaction from client relationship through final project delivery

  • Leading key pursuit activities during opening, middle, and end game, working closely with sales operations.

  • Building relationships with your client through face-to-face meetings and participating in professional events.

  • Leading internal coordination through working directly with the sales team on overall client strategy and coordination on pursuits, with operations team for project delivery and quality, and with legal team regarding contracting.

  • Obtaining and distilling feedback and other indicators that may influence middle game actions.

The base salary range for this position is $105,500 to $184,500 for a Career level position and $126,500 to $221,500 for a Senior level position. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Here’s what you’ll need :

· (P.E.) Professional Engineer Registration in Washington State or ability to obtain within 6 months

· At least 10 years of professional experience in the transportation market sector

· Strong technical background in transportation/transit engineering and understanding of project delivery tools and metrics, and a proven history leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations.

· Attributes that include good oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach

· Proven track record in developing and maintaining strong client relationships that result in the creation and procurement of new and repeat consulting work

· Adept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and leading diverse teams

Ideally, * * you’ll also have:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Transportation/Transit focus)

· Strong networks and relationships in the Washington and Idaho transportation and transit markets

· Proficiency and prior experience of using AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation/InRoads

· Previous WSDOT, FTA, FHWA, and local municipal project delivery experience

· Previous experience working on alternative delivery (design-build, progressive design-build)
