Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager/Data Analytics Specialist in Springfield, VA. Duties will include:

  • Collect and verify any and all data as it relates to projectsmetrics

  • Collect and report productivity metrics weekly, monthlyor as needed

  • Assist with the creation and management of softwareprograms utilized to pull data from the various cost management and fulfillmentsystems we support

  • Gathers, analyzes, and composes technical information

  • Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology

  • Translates technical information into clear, readable documents andpresentations to be used by technical and non-technical personnel

  • Supports thedevelopment of all types of documents and reports by developing and updatinggraphics presentations to improve the quality and enhance the usability ofthese documents

  • Responsible for integrating the graphics and informationgenerated from meetings and facilitation sessions, using automated tools, andresearch methods into final deliverable documents

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph required

  • Requires two (2) years of college with coursesin business administration, industrial management, or appropriate discipline,and six (6) years progressive experience, or any equivalent combination ofrelevant education and experience

  • Must be able to interface with individuals atall levels of the organization both verbally and in writing

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office productsuite (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, SharePoint)

  • Preferred qualifications:

  • Associates Degree

  • PMP

  • ITIL

  • SQL

  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge ofprinciples and processes for providing customer and personal services. Thisincludes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, andevaluation of customer satisfaction

Essential Job Functions

Work Environment:

General Office environment.The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadlinepressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork andcooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across theCompany and Customers.

Physical Requirements:

Most work will be done at a desk or computer. Typically employeessit comfortably to do their work, interspersed by brief periods of standing,walking, bending, carrying papers and books, and extensive periods requiringthe use of computer terminals to accomplish work objectives.

Equipment and Machines:

General office equipmentincluding PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and othermiscellaneous office equipment.


Must be able to maintain regular, reliableattendance and ensure on time daily arrival. Attendance is critical at alltimes. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday throughFriday. However, times and days may vary depending on businessrequirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks andbe available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situationoccur.

Other Essential Functions:

Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motorvehicle records check.Grooming and dress must be appropriate for theposition and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity andpromotes teamwork and cooperation.Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinateand prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well underpressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed.
