Jacobs CAD Technician - Water in St. Louis, Missouri

You’ll tap into both your creative and analytical sides as you complete CAD designs, collect, and prepare data as well as support project coordination on some of the most cutting-edge projects in our industry. In this role you’ll perform computer aided drafting and basic design of water/wastewater projects. You’ll use your experience to produce drawings, create layouts, sketches, and 2D/3D modeling if applicable. You’ll also prepare drawings and sketches using CAD workstations, appropriate design criteria, and technical manuals often working closely with engineers to coordinate designs. '- Experience with using Microsoft Office programs
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, MicroStation, REVIT and/or Bentley 3D platforms.
Experience in process mechanical design
Familiarity with CAD standards
Experience on Metropolitan St Louis Sewer District projects
A technical background in drafting design and experience using CAD software
Ideally, you’ll also have:
