The Cost Estimator will support our government client at their Site in St Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will provide experienced professional cost estimating support (e.g., certified cost estimator credential) for project implementation programs, manage and maintain major annual project budget.
Develops all programming, budget, and implementation documentation that supports major construction efforts culminating in projects.
Develops and/or validate all project cost estimates for program and use expertise to input updates in DoD-mandated BUILDER software.
Researches and validates documentation justifying funding sources for projects.
Prepares presentations to justify proposed project cost estimates to senior ownership and identify and analyze alternatives leading to recommended courses of action that satisfy facility project cost requirements.
Provides clear and concise reports detailing methodology used, options considered, and recommended ways forward.
Develops and maintains all cost data collected from relevant projects (past, current, future) in a cost library database, or equivalent electronic platform, which shall be capable of easy use by facilities engineers to develop Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Holds an active TS/SCI clearance
7+ Years Related Experience
General knowledge of the Department of Defense
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience within related field.
Ideally, you'll need:
Comprehensive computer knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
Additional skills include the following: briefing skills, project management, organizational and communication skills.
