Jacobs Highway/Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri

You’ll work alongside professional engineers and designers, gaining exposure to project coordination, relevant computer-assisted engineering software, data collection and so much more.
Responsibilities:
Offer design support on exciting transportation projects
Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and early career professional programs
Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager
The work may include freeway, highway and roadway design, signing and pavement marking plans, utility plans, traffic control plans, technical writing, quantity calculations, construction documents, and all supporting documentation
Attend and contribute to project and team meetings
Support design and preparation of plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Support preparation of reports, plans, specifications, construction schedules, and engineers estimate
Perform other duties as needed

In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited program
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
A previous internship related to your field of study
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
Submitted a cover letter with your resume
