We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Project Architect to grow with our team.

The Jacobs St. Louis office is currently seeking a Project Architect to join our design team. As a Project Architect, in partnership with the Architectural Discipline Director and Senior Project Architect you are accountable for adhering to project financial goals and team communication. You will be tasked to making sure overall design intent was achieved by the project designers on your team along with developing and participating in the strategy for planning and execution. The highest quality of work involves teamwork and collaboration with top talent of Designers, Quality Controls and Architects. Having business development foresight you will bring your personal brand and create and grow in tantum with Jacobs to be a strong advocate and the go to company for the greater St. Louis market

Our goal is to develop innovative interior architectural design concepts which are practical, aesthetic, safe, and conducive to intended purpose and function, reflect client goals and are within project budget and schedule. 

Qualifications

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.

  • Licensed Architect with current registration

  • NCARB registration

  • LEED AP Preferred but if not obtained a credential will be required within 6 months of employment.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

  • Master’s degree

  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.

  • Knowledge of architectural building systems

  • Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines, Building Information Modeling (BIM), QA/QC process. building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.

  • Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, Enscape and InDesign graphic software preferred. Other graphic tools and knowledge encouraged.
