About the Opportunity:
At Jacobs, we push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter and more connected. We are playing a key role on one of the most iconic giga projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, arguably one of the largest projects in the world.
Jacobs are looking for a Senior Audio / Video Support Professional to be based at the programme site in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will oversee organizing and installing media AV equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, sound boards, computers, and more. You should have extensive knowledge of audio and video equipment, expertise with a range of various programs and software, and great troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include:
Driving the strengthening of operations through better use of technology, using collaborative approaches to understand the needs of diverse teams, identify the best technology solutions, and build the capacity of teams to adopt and use them effectively
Maintaining and updating all aspects of the programme AV technology, and infrastructure to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the organization
Act as a single point of contact for all regional AV Infrastructure design and implementation issues with the programme offices
Act as a single point of contact for AV Infrastructure projects and equipment
Establish the needs and expectations of clients and stakeholders
Create the technical drawings for the AV systems and write up proper documentation for their use.
Oversee the installation of the AV systems and troubleshooting problems as they arise
Create and develop training documentations, videos, and user manuals and guides
Train employees on how to use the AV system's software and tools after the installation is complete.
Consult team leads to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of AV infrastructure technology
Ensure smooth delivery and operation of the AV systems and services by monitoring performance of related technology systems, services, solutions, and processes
Create processes and standards for selecting, implementing, and supporting operational AV technology systems
Identify risks associated with prospective changes to AV technology systems, services and solutions, and work with Senior Management Team and other relevant staff, as needed, to develop and implement mitigation strategies
Prepare PowerBI reports and dashboards as needed
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Have a degree in Information Technology or related field
Previously have managed the AV requirements across multiple office locations
Have 8-10 years experience in the AV and VR industry
Be able to support implementing and operating the various AV equipment
Have AV field certification
Have a good understanding of IT infrastructure and cabling
Have a good understanding of cloud and mobile technology
