Your Impact:

At Jacobs, we push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter and more connected. Be part of the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision to transform the infrastructure on the Kingdom’s West Coast working with the Amaala development, with its purpose of connecting three luxury destinations; Triple Bay, The Island and Miraya.

For Amaala this means as part of the early phases of the overall development, access to the proposed Airport and into Triple North Bay as a priority deliverable. This package will consist of two geometrically similar grade separated interchanges running along the existing Highway 5.

Help to make a difference and be part of our site supervision team on the Amaala development.

As the Commercial Manager you will have responsibility for leading, monitoring, managing and reporting on all commercial and contractual aspects and propose mitigating actions at the earliest opportunity to the Program Senior Contracts Manager. The position supports the leadership team, where you will have responsibility for the contract and commercial management of your assigned package on the programme.

This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge on cost reporting, including cost forecasting, anticipated final cost, cost of work done, gross billing and current contract value whilst leading the commercial review of contractor delivery of projects and lead valuation progress meetings. You will be assessing contractual implications of issues as they arise and provide direction to the package delivery team; managing claims, advising on all aspects of contractual claims whilst implementing procedures to anticipate, recognize and identify claims as they evolve, manage timely resolution under the change provisions where possible and obtain legal expertise as appropriate. Your key objective is maintaining best practice and preventing any issues or work that doesn’t meet the requirements of the Contract.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

As a successful candidate you will have a degree in a Quantity Surveying with experience in contract formation and administration on railway projects. You must be able to demonstrate excellent negotiation and client relationship skills. A pre-requisite of the role is that you have Middle East experience and MRICS preferred.
