Jacobs Bridge Engineer EIT/PE in Tampa, Florida

As a vital member of our Florida & Puerto Rico team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on transportation projects that focus on bridges and other transportation structure designs. Working alongside a team of technicians and engineers, you’ll be responsible for creating drawings and simulations using software tools and resources supporting our clients’ overall project goals.
Our Bridge Engineering professional prepares final designs and drawings for variously sized bridges related projects. You’ll serve as a core team member to help successfully deliver quality projects. Working closely with other disciplines, you’ll assist with field assignments as related to transportation structures, reviewing shop drawings and answer RFI’s during construction.
'- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
Substantial post graduate years of bridge design experience and transportation structure design
Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD Design Code, FDOT Bridge Specifications, ACI and ASCI Design
