This position will bean individual who will lead, evaluate and develop winning response strategiesto acquire new business and retain current clients. This position provides anexciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with solid interpersonalskills, exceptional project management, verbal and written communication skillsand a proven ability to manage major bid proposals for our O&M team. Your focus will be on overseeing the development of high quality,strategic, client specific proposals in a deadline-driven environment, while helpingdetermine and lead the strategic direction, vision and scope of the proposaland interview presentation materials; ensuring alignment with the organization’sgoals and strategies. We also expect your leadership in managing theoverall collaterals and communication documents library, competitor databaseand other relevant information in a logical and easy to access format fordissemination as necessary.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence high performance sales teams, and demonstrated evidence of establishing collaborative and connected relationships across a broad matrix organization

  • Responsible for appropriate application of our sales work process on selective pursuits to win work

  • Collaborate with Sales Lead and Capture Manager/Operations in developing distinctive value propositions that enhance our customers’ competitive position

  • Collaborate with O&M Communications staff to update, improve and/or maintain collateral and communication libraries

  • Leverage global network to identify and put forward Jacobs’ unique capabilities and resources

  • Organize, direct and motivate a multi discipline pursuit team to develop strategic sales deliverables

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Has worked on major proposals with a minimum of ten relevant years of experience

  • Knowledgeable in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting his/her business and organization; knows the competition; is aware of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.

  • Can quickly find common ground and solve problems for the good of all; can represent his/her own interests and yet be fair to other groups; can solve problems with peers with a minimum of noise; is seen as a team player and is cooperative; easily gains trust and support of peers; encourages collaboration; can be candid with peers.
