Jacobs Drinking Water and Reuse Engineer in Tempe, Arizona
Do you have a passion for work in the drinking water and reuse market? Join our team to help us win and deliver projects for our clients across Arizona and throughout the rest of the country. As a Drinking Water and Reuse Engineer in our Tempe office, you will:
Work with our global water reuse team on cutting-edge planning, design, optimization, and research projects.
Use your technical skills and experience to help us solve challenging and complex problems.
Leverage your communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to partner with our clients and help drive our team to meet their needs.
Work in a variety of different areas to solve problems, including in the office using desktop calculations, in the filed doing bench, pilot, or full-scale testing, and working collaboratively with both internal and external teams.
Support projects with a wide range of technical challenges, including conventional and advanced treatment processes, including coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection (ozone, UV, chlorine), adsorption, and other treatment processes.
Help drive our business in Arizona and beyond by partnering with our sales organization, our project managers, and our technologists to identify projects to pursue and help develop a winning strategy.
Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful design of water treatment facilities.
Be expected to assist with team building and mentoring of younger engineers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Licensed Processional Engineer (PE)
• 4+ year’s work experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• 7+ year’s work experience in relevant water treatment and process engineering
• Masters degree or PhD in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering discipline
