Jacobs Pricing Analyst, Transit & Rail in Toronto, Ontario

Performing client management / interfacing / updates / presentations at all levels of management, Project Cost Controls partners with Project Managers to ensure complete awareness of project cost, risks and provide alternative strategies for mitigation / opportunities. Jacobs Engineering Group utilizes advanced Enterprise System platforms and data analysis solutions to support service excellence.
You’ll have the opportunity to make a huge impact. Specifically, we’ll look for you to thoroughly understand the principles of cost control, planning/scheduling, and estimating.
Additionally, there will be opportunities to develop and maintain productive cross-discipline relationships within the project team.
Proactively monitor and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs/labor hours for projects.
Consolidate performance data to support performance measurement, data analysis, and cost forecasting.
Develop accurate and timely project cost forecasts.
Assist in the development of project work plans and schedules.
Create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate schedule status and identify critical path.
Provide technical guidance to other project controls staff in schedule and cost control procedures.

At least 7 years of related experience is required
Familiarity with Primavera v6 software, along with experience in engineering and/or construction work process and activity sequence
Experience in using and understanding earned value progress and experience in all phases of home office engineering
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Program related experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field
