We are looking for a driven and curious Project Controls Analyst in Toronto, to support our Transit / Rail Program Management Team. The Project Controls Analyst - Transit / Rail will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of a Light Rail Transit project objectives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting project data, effectively monitoring progress and performance, and providing insights and recommendations and improvement to the project leadership team.

This resource will be working cross-functionally and provide support to the Project Controls team and overall Project Delivery Team as required, including risk and scheduling functions. • Identifying and interpreting key metrics, trends, and patterns in data to derive meaningful insights and make data-driven recommendations applicable to the Project Delivery functions.

• Creating visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present data analysis findings to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner and supporting interactions with program stakeholders and program level requirements

• Validating monthly reporting across multiple reporting forums and channels- cross-checking to ensure data accuracy.

• Identifying and supporting the Project with opportunities for process improvement and automation in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

• Recommending improvements to existing dashboards and reporting structures.

• Coordinating team inputs to project-level control boards and maintaining board material.

• Working cross-functionally and providing support to the Program controls team as required, including administrative support, meeting minutes, and action tracking (Program Delivery Risk and Scheduling and Project Cost functions).

• Monthly collection of data on achievements across the Project.

• Monitoring Program Delivery Group performance against the plan.

• Supporting program controls best practices to foster organizational program controls maturity by using a common set of practices, tools and standards

• At least 5 years of project cost controls experience.

• Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues.

• Experience in project controls, scheduling, and working in multi-disciplinary teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or other business management related degree, supported by relevant experience.

• Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases (MS Access), Power BI and dashboard development.
