We are looking for a Structural BIM Designer to join our Toronto team. In this role you’ll prepare detailed reinforced concrete drawings and participate in the development of design concepts, creating models from scratch and coordinating designs for various structural projects, including water /wastewater treatment, pumping stations, transportation, institutional, commercial and industrial facilities.
In this role you’ll work closely with engineers and designers on development of engineering drawings and construction documents, and will convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and /or BIM 3D models. You’ll coordinate the drawing work with the designer team, assisting in assigning work, balancing workloads, monitoring progress towards deadlines, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
• At least 8 years of reinforced concrete and steel detailing experience
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with engineering principles, codes and standards for the design of steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
• Perform drafting using MicroStation 3D to develop structural (and civil) drawings
• Knowledge of AutoCad/Revit is a plus
• Experience working on GTA related municipal projects will be an asset
