Are you a Senior Civil Engineer that wants to support our Townsville team on Highways projects? In this role you will provide civil engineering design and project management input whilst also preparing bids and marketing with internal and external clients for our wider Northern Australia team. You will also be afforded the opportunity to help develop our leaders of tomorrow by mentoring less experienced staff. Some of the role responsibilities include:
Provide planning and design inputs for civil, road and infrastructure projects as well as specialist support for multi-disciplinary projects in accordance with Australian Standards, Austroads Guidelines and local authority requirements
Lead the pursuit development and preparation of tenders for new work
Providing an external facing role with Jacobs’ new and existing clients and industry partners
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Qualified Civil Engineer with membership of Institute of Engineers Australia and Chartered Engineer Status/or actively working towards achieving this
Good interpersonal skills who develops others and has the ability to build strong client relationships.
Understanding of industry standards and best practices.
Construction Safety Training (White Card).
Current driver’s license.
