Your Impact:

Jacobs is looking for passionate and driven individuals to join our dynamic team.

  • Provide support for various government submissions and requirements and government and financial audits as directed

  • Help post journal entries

  • Perform annual tax depreciation for several companies

  • Run cost models and cost impacts

  • Knowledge of fixed asset accounting

  • Knowledge of intercompany accounting and reconciliations

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned

Here’s What You’ll Need:

Must have a BA or BS degree in Accounting/Finance, plus three (3) years of progressive and relevant experience. Must have experience/knowledge with DCAA and other compliance audit agencies and Sales/Use Tax.

Physical Requirements

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen.

Work Environment

Generally an office environment. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, customer, and all levels of management.

Equipment and Machines

Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.

Attendance

Regular hours will be Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:15pm and Friday 7:30am - 11:30am. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important.

Other Essential Functions

Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communication skills, both verbal and written. Must take and pass a background check and drug screening.
