Your Impact:

The Asset Management Group supports both our internal facility contracts and our external customers to build efficient operation and maintenance programs based on sound reliability engineering principles. We are a small, agile team that steps in to help solve the challenges faced by our customers – leading changes in culture, process, and technology. As a member of our team, you will:

  1. Use your knowledge to develop, operate and manage Condition Monitoring programs.

  2. Perform data collection, analysis and reporting of equipment health parameters.

  3. Conduct Condition Monitoring surveys at our client’s premises.

  4. Design and maintain systems for the storage of condition and performance monitoring data.

  5. Design and support installation of remote sensors and data acquisition systems.

  6. Work with network and cyber departments to ensure that cyber security risk controls are in place on all automated systems.

  7. Establish and implement reliability engineering principles and best work practices in accordance with the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) or equivalent.

  8. Provide support to other professionals to develop, train, and assist in the implementation of monitoring practices.

  9. Utilize Maximo (CMMS) to plan, track, and evaluate effectiveness of maintenance activities.

  10. Improve/automate operations and maintenance tasks to provide optimal performance.

  11. Determine the function, capability, functional failure modes, probability of failure, impact severity and acceptable risk for assets to define the right maintenance requirements to eliminate functional failures and their effects.

  12. Develop maintenance strategies and job plans for equipment.

  13. Provide support to sites for implementation of reliability improvements.

  14. Provide recommendations for improvements in process, procedure, systems, and infrastructure using diagrams, calculations, drawings, and reports.

  15. This is a remote position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other applicable field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Self-motivated, requiring little direct supervision and taking initiative when warranted.

  • Accepts responsibility for own safety as well as that of others.

  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Data Analysis, SQL).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are critical.

  • Ability to read, review, and create P&IDs, loop diagrams, datasheets, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

  • Ability to fully conceptualize and communicate major elements of Condition Based Maintenance to both technical and non-technical personnel.

  • Experience with condition monitoring software and Building Automation System applications

  • Familiarity with condition monitoring techniques such as vibration and infrared preferred.

  • CMRP and/or CRL certified preferred.

  • Other: Work is accomplished in offices, control rooms, shops, and in and around test facility buildings and equipment.

  • Work assignments are usually during normal work hours, but flexibility is sometimes necessary to support meetings, test schedules, and test operations.
