Our sought-after Project Controls Administrative Professional (PC-AP) candidate would be a key supporter of Project Management activities, specifically in the areas of the financial, procurement, and scheduling activities of design and construction projects. Within these areas, the PC-AP would assist in planning, expediting, data gathering, tracking, reporting, and summarizing project level information for use by the PM, the project team, and segment management.
Our project managers (PMs) lead technically challenging engineering and construction projects, typically in the range of $5-100 million contract values. Our PMs lead a team in the accomplishment of work on projects of moderate size and in the development of all required documentation/deliverables within budget and schedule constraints. Our PMs control project work accomplishment versus scope of services contracted, assesses progress versus schedule and resolves conflicts or elevates conflicts to management level necessary for resolution.
Most projects fall in the automotive, aerospace, or scientific market spaces, particularly in terms of advanced testing facilities. Example facilities include wind tunnels, engine test facilities, rocket test stands, climatic simulation facilities, etc. Engineering/design work typically performed in offices in Tullahoma, TN or Bingham Farms, MI while construction and commissioning work is most often at a client’s site in the continental US with some work in international locations such as the UK, Germany, Japan, etc. Nearly every design is for a unique, one-of-a-kind engineered solution.
