Your Impact:

The Asset Management Group helps our customers build efficient operation and maintenance programs based on sound reliability engineering principles. We are a small, agile team that steps in to help solve the challenges faced by our customers – leading changes in culture, process, and technology. As a Project Manager in our team, you will simultaneously manage multiple contracts or work packages that typically:

  • Provide Maintenance and Reliability Engineering and CMMS services.

  • Support government and commercial clients located across the United States, with some international opportunities.

  • Range in magnitude from $50,000 to $2,000,000.

  • Typical project duration is 6 to 12 months.

  • Consist of 1 to 5 multi-discipline team members.

Your roles:

  • Oversees and motivates project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget while meeting business & technical requirements.

  • Manages project planning to include the development of project management plans, project schedules, and milestones.

  • Monitors the progress of projects – tracks progress against milestones, deadlines, budgets, etc.

  • Applies in-depth understanding of client contracts. Anticipates, manages, and resolves issues within projects.

  • Resolves budgetary, technical, and scheduling issues.

  • Implements regular reviews and controls to manage project progress.

  • Conducts monthly project status briefs to upper management.

  • Maintains effective communications and relationships with all project stakeholders.

  • Ensures company and/or client methodologies, processes, tools, and systems are used throughout the project and compliance requirements are met/satisfied.

  • Employs good written and oral presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.

  • Supports development of proposals for new projects

Here’s What You’ll Need:

MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND /OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience with 2 years of project management or other project leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated commitment to health and safety while providing safety leadership.

  • Strong understanding and application of business drivers and financial reporting.

  • Experience preparing scope statements, estimates, and forecasts.

  • Demonstrated success in managing contracts or leading project teams.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks both in person and in remote work environments.

  • Good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to interpret key elements of project schedules (such as critical path, actual versus planned activities, etc.) to identify adverse trends and take correction action.

  • Experience using professional scheduling software and Microsoft Office products.

Desired:

  • Technical background in Operations and Maintenance, Asset Management, Engineering Design, or related field.

  • Experience in the preparation, budgeting, negotiation, and administration of contracts with both public and private organizations.

  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and other advisors.
