About the opportunity:

Jacobs has a growing UK Landscape and Arboriculture team of over 70 professionals and we are looking for someone who can bring their landscape architecture expertise to this innovative and exciting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuing development, implementation and management of landscape architecture projects within the Landscape team across a wide range of project stages and types.

Main Responsibilities


Undertake landscape design and planning for a range of projects


Work with a range of disciplines within Jacobs and with outside consultants


Contribute new innovative ideas, materials, research and learnings to the landscape team, as part of your project work


Support both the design and assessment teams.

About you

The successful candidate must be a strong communicator, capable of presenting technical concept and solutions to clients and collaborating with multi-discipline teams to achieve the best results.

The successful candidate will need to:

Be able to resolve issues in a timely manner;


Be flexible and dependable.


Here’s What You’ll Need:


Landscape architect with experience, working towards or recently achieved Chartership with the Landscape Institute


Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment.


Ability to take on projects and work independently or as part of the wider landscape and multi-disciplinary teams.


AutoCAD with good graphical presentation skills for drawing delivery


Knowledge and/or experience of Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator) software, with associated graphics, sketch visualisation and presentation skills.
