This exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure project through our VDOT Hampton Roads District Wide Construction Engineering and Inspection contract will utilize your Construction Management and Engineering focus to help ensure safe and efficient delivery. You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business, as well as gain experience working directly with the project Contractors. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Prior experience on a construction site (such as inspection, materials testing, working for a Contractor or construction management firm)
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, pdf editors (BlueBeam preferred) and PM Web
Ideally, you’ll also have:
Prior experience on local, state and/or federal transportation projects
Knowledge of and experience with construction contracts, specifications and engineering drawings
Experience with software packages used in construction document management like Procore, PlanGrid; cost estimating software like RS Means and EquipmentWatch; and/or scheduling software like Primavera (P6)
