If so, you should explore our team who provides global solutions support to Aviation, Transportation, Water and Government clients. By joining our team, you'll serve as the technical lead to develop real solutions for our clients' portfolio of facilities.

The Coast Guard’s facility inventory includes over 41,000 real property facilities, structures and aids to navigation. Jacobs has a contract with the US Coast Guard to support the continual improvement of the CE Program support of these assets, cradle to grave. The role of the Senior Consultant is to provide process development, decision support methodologies, data analysis, strategic planning and communications support to support the contract deliverables and the relationships throughout the USCG. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Development of risk management and mitigation strategies

  • Developing and drafting configuration standards, technical specifications, and process guides

  • Performing technical studies on asset life cycle and asset performance

  • Performing data analysis, evaluating its completeness, currency, accuracy and utilizations

  • Development and use of key performance indicators (KPIs) to support resource decision making

  • Support budget development and resource prioritization activities

  • Evaluating and developing maintenance management strategies and programs

  • Evaluating and developing capital strategies and programs

  • Facilitating strategic planning meetings with senior military and civilian USCG leaders

Here’s What You’ll Need:

What You'll Need:

  • BS Engineering, Finance, Economics, Architecture, Planning, Computer Science, Mathematics,or related

  • At least 15 years experience in facility planning, design, construction, construction management, facility management, asset management, risk management or facility asset management

  • At least 10 years leading multidiscipline teams

  • At least 3 years experience working with design, construction, maintenance or asset management software systems such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), computerized aided facility management (CAFM) systems, enterprise asset management (EAM) systems, geospatial information management (GIS), building information modeling (BIM), computer aided design (CAD), financial information systems (FIS), and integrated workplace management systems (IWMS)

  • Willing to travel up to 20% of the time, travel locations may vary, but be limited to the United States of America and its Territories

  • Ability to meet Coast Guard standards to satisfactorily obtain a federal government Common Access Card (CAC)

  • US Citizen

Ideally You'll Have:

  • Prior work with the Department of Homeland Security or the Department of Defense

  • Prior work with the USCG, particularly the CE Program or HQ

  • Life cycle focused budget development and prioritization experience

  • ISO 55000(series) or ISO31000 (series) implementation or assessment experience

  • Flag Level briefing experience

  • Secret or top-secret clearance

  • MS degree related

  • Credentials relating to facility maintenance, design, engineering, planning, project/program management
