Sr. Business Development Professional
Critical Mission Solutions (CMS) has an immediate opening for a Senior Business Development (BD) Professional.
Senior BD Professionals develop and execute the full lifecycle of the CMS sales process to achieve key business objectives. This includes developing, maintaining, and advancing client relationships through sales strategies and client contracts.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as capture manager or proposal manager with responsibility for opportunity pursuit strategy and implementation and/or proposal strategy and management including oversight of and contributions to proposal preparation, submittal, and post-award support to ensure a successful transition to operations for execution.
Oversee application of the company’s Relationship Based Sales (RBS) process.
Oversee the development of value propositions that enhance Jacobs’ competitive position and achieve client objectives.
Contribute to the development of written and graphical marketing and proposal matter.
Contribute to the development of functional, regional, or global business development strategies.
Evaluate key personnel for contract/task bids/proposals.
Generate and foster positive client relationships.
Recommend strategic hires, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures when appropriate in support of business development strategies.
Implement quality, safety, and BeyondZero program to promote and incident- and injury-free culture.
May be responsible for resource allocation, productivity, expense levels, and asset management.
May provide leadership for other Business Development Professionals and/or multi-disciplinary proposal teams.
Education and Experience: BS/BA degree and fourteen (14) years related experience; additional education may be substituted for experience.
Technical: Capability in the use and application of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership skills as evidenced by prior supervisory experience.
Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Other: Work may be required after hours and on weekends, and sometimes on short notice. Must be willing and able to travel.
