About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Engineering Lead to join the team in Birchwood, Warrington.
Agree and oversee implementation of digital engineering delivery strategy at a project level
Act as primary contact with software vendors in conjunction with Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) System Administrators
Drive development and adoption of business wide standards and procedures
Advise on the evaluation / prioritisation of user development and enhancement requests
Direct improvement of integration and interoperability of systems
Direct, monitor and participate in new developments and enhancements in support of Project and Client requirements
In collaboration with Head of Capability and the senior team, build digital roadmap (Vision, mission, development steps)
Support Head of Capability in generating & maintaining digital capability strategy (shape, size, expertise, location, current & future requirements, future vision)
Working with the design capability build / develop digital engineering ‘toolbox’ from project experience, including standards and procedures.
Act as senior technical Single Point Of Contact for customers on projects
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Direct experience of the deployment, configuration or integration of at least some of the toolsets above and associated problem solving of related practical issues
Background in engineering design is essential and experience of any of the following tools as a basis.
AIM (AVEVA Net) & validation IM-utilities
AVEVA E3D/PDMS/P&ID/Diagrams/Aveva E&I
AutoDesk Revit / Civ3D / Inventor / Vault
