About the opportunity:

Operational Sales Lead– Technology & Consulting core duties will fall into four broad categories: Research and Analysis, Sales Material Development, Opportunity Response leadership and Co-ordination, and Knowledge Management

Our Operational Sales Leads will:

• Provide compelling offers to our customers, that are compliant, clear, credible, and concise, using applicable tools, guidelines and templates

• Ensure end to end bid delivery excellence in line with Jacobs bidding (end game) process

• Effective team player including leading a technical bid team to a successful submission – this role requires significant collaboration with others

• Develops and maintains sales qualification materials, such as gathering proven 5* responses and proofs to support the bid writers, developing case studies and exemplar responses for key projects to support future opportunities

• Develops appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices etc. between office/teams

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Ability to use LFE from your experience in projects, programmes, bids, proposals etc. to ensure we use experience to enhance our performance

  • Passionate about delivery, quality, and presentation of proposals

  • Advanced verbal and written command of English language

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office suite and with knowledge of database applications

  • Willingness to support others and a strong collaborative ethos

  • Willing to play an in important role in a team environment and lead by example to enable a successful outcome

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working with nuclear customers and / or Technology and Consultancy Business and / or Sales/Business Development Function desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or technical or related discipline. Similar working level obtained through relevant job experience may be accepted in lieu of degree level education

  • Experienced at bid editing, proof reading and formatting services

  • Ability to understand and solve customer issues – encouraging early engagement on opportunities via customer value propositions
